Global warming is caused by the build up of gases in the atmosphere such as carbon dioxide and methane, which form a sort of blanket over the Earth, trapping in heat that would normally escape the atmosphere. The leading greenhouse gas is carbon dioxide, a pollutant emitted from the burning of fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, and natural has. While it is true that there has always been some natural climate variability, the changes that are currently underway are unlike anything that has been seen before. Record levels of carbon dioxide are having a far reaching change over our weather, sea levels, and climate.

Scientists are concerned about accelerated global warming…That is a given. But what they did not expect, were two new global warming gases that come from ancient plants and those that come from flat screen technology. Those gases where not part of the equation for global warming.
Carbon dioxide is old hat compared to gases that are coming from ancient plants and from flat panel screen technology. These gases are are on a rapid rise. Enough to worry scientists about the global warming future. Especially with the recent accelerated global warming.
The gases that are being omitted from old plant decay and flat screen technology are methane and nitrogen trifluoride. Both still pale in comparison to carbon dioxide, produced by the burning of coal, oil and other fossil fuels. In the past couple of years, however, methane and nitrogen trifluoride have been on the rise and their increase is not accounted for in predictions for future global warming and comes as a big, hairy, nasty surprise to climate watchers.
As the Artic Ice starts to melt, the ancient plant decay is emitting gases. And flat screen technology…every day we invent something new. Scientists did not allow for this factor when calculating GLOBAL WARMING.
The gases coming off the Artic have not yet begun to hit the air level in the proportions that scientists are expecting it. Raising the eye brows of all climate watchers.
