We installed this unit on our boat and got it working immediately, no problems whatsoever. We bought it for all the inland lakes in Michigan and it has details on all the ones that we boat on. Here is my question, if a person has a personal GPS, is there any way online you can track where that person is? Say for instance you let your teen have it in their car, can you check to make sure they are truly going where they say? Does the GPS have a number or something?

The Foretrex 201 is a general purpose version of the Forerunner personal training device.It lacks the personal training features (and PC software) of the Forerunner and replaces them with a general purpose GPS feature set derived from Garmins successful “Geko” models.
