Gabrielle Schoeneweis was born Gabrielle Dawn Barun in 1971 to parents Ken Barun and Sarah Hamilton. Gabrielle went on to marry Major League pitcher Scott Schoeneweis and the two had four children together: Kylie Porter, Hudson Scott, Harper Claire, and Emerson Grace. On May 20, 2009, Gabrielle Schoeneweis was found dead in the family's home. An appellate court revealed in a ruling today that Gabrielle Shoeneweis died from an overdose of cocaine and the anesthetic lidocaine. She was found dead on May 20 in the Fountain Hills, Arizona home she shared with her husband, former Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Scott Schoeneweis. According to Arizona's, the ruling also stated that an investigation proved Gabrielle's cocaine use "may have caused harm to another person." Whoever that might be was not named in the ruling.
