Her role is being kept "top secret", but news is that Gail O'Grady (45) will be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives this season.  I have a feeling she may be replacing Nicolette Sheridan whose character is reportedly being written off the show.  Hmmm lets see ... just spit-balling here, but in the land of TV dramas (ie: soaps) that most likely means that O'Grady will play Edie's long lost, either evil or sugar sweet, sister who arrives to claim Edie's belongings after Edie's shocking...Read Full Story

There’s a new housewife coming to Wisteria Lane - EW.com is reporting that Gail O’Grady is joining Desperate Housewives. Gail O’Grady will appear on a recurring basis as a new cougar in the neighborhood, who EW.com says “was originally conceived as a Mrs. Robinson-esque seductress who sets her sights on one of Lynette’s rapidly aged twin terrors.” Whether she’ll play the seductress or another role on the series is yet to be determined, but casting is underway for her husband.
