'Wonder Women' Gal Gadot and Lynda Carter Hit It Off on the Red Carpet
The two ran into each other at the film's premiere. It was glorious.
Once a Wonder Woman, always a Wonder Woman.
Gal Gadot and Lynda Carter ran into each other on the heavily anticipated Wonder Woman red carpet on Friday, and the meet-up couldn't have been more marvelous. Gadot, star of the 2017 film, and Carter, who brought the 1970s TV series to life, took time out to worship one another's presences as they prepared for the flick's premiere.
Here's the whole fabulous interaction, illustrated by a series of pictures.
(Try not to smile. We dare you.)
While Carter and Gadot have met before, they hadn't expected to run into each other at the event, giving way to the heart-warming gestures of camaraderie and respect we see above.
"What a wonderful movie!! Gal Gadot is fabulous as Wonder Woman," Carter went on to tweet. "I had so much fun at the premiere."
Since emerging as Wonder Woman about four decades ago, Carter has enjoyed a varied and consistent acting career. The 65-year-old appeared in The CW's Supergirl as President Olivia Marsdin in 2016, and recently completed filming for Super Troopers 2.
Carter is far from the only one to love the film. As Vanity Fair points out, critics from Indiewire to Collider have heaped praise on it all week.
Wonder Woman hits theaters June 2, 2017.
