When you first begin to play the game, you will need to plow your fields before you can plant crops. Then, you have to go to the market to choose which crop to plant. It would be smart to select crops with big profits. Consider the cost of the seeds versus the money that you will be earning from harvesting the crop. In order to compare the probability of crops, subtract the cost of the seeds from the money you will make from the harvest, and divide that value by the cost of the seed. This is what you call return on investment (ROI). In choosing the crop, you must also consider the time it takes to for each crop to reach full growth. Because different crops grow at different rates, you should choose seeds according to how much time you have to play. For example, if you have a lot of time to play during the day, you can plant crops that take less time to reach full growth.

Another benefit of helping your neighbors by way of cleaning up the weeds, raking up leaves, or scaring crows away is that you get to earn coins.
