Alright, now, I used to play runescape, I used to have a bunch of stuff, I saw the days before runecrafting, hell i saw the days before runescape 2, and let me tell you something, I have fell for a lot of scams, and I am here today to tell you about it.
Now, I bet you have seen the random guy on the internet who is probably either 7 or 30 years old, who says "HEY I USED TO WORK FOR JAGEX" this, is your first hint, if you are looking for some hack, and this is what you see, I swear to you, this is a scam, they have these retarded little codes like
durdurimahacker@#!1 yournickname durdurimgaydwad
and so on for the rest of your info, this is a gay way, losers think you should fall for. Listen, I know this is hard for you to realise BUT RUNESCAPE IS HACKPROOF. Surprisingly, it's hacking and password protection is otherworldly, it is better than leading games such as World Of Warcraft and so on. Why you ask? Well it is an online game you play on an internet page, one way to hack a game is changing files in the actual directory on one's computer, others use the .exe file from the directory and take advantage of it. This too complicated? Well, just know, it isn't possible.
I am going to be straightforward with you, alright, so maybe you don't have the attention span to level up to 5000 and work for hours on end for that dragon stuff, well fine, I will tell you what, go play a private server, ya, go do it, that way, you aren't scammed, your not feeding the scammers, and you get what you want. Of course everything isn't as sweet as it sounds. The runners of the game need to run it from their own computers, well what does that mean? This means that this ILLEGAL might I add, version of runescape, will be very laggy, worse than having a worm eat up your computer memory, also it only runs when they have it running, a lot of things could happen
The ingame scamming prevention over the years has greatly improved, and if you actually fall for a scam in the actual game you have to be either not knowing about it, or really tired, or on drugs hell i don't know. But here are the things that should shoot up red flags
"Hey come pk with me in wildy" If they are not your friend, and you have nice stuff, chances are, they wanna kill you
"Drop your stuff on the floor and press alt+f4, you will get them multiplied" or something to this nature, know that alt+f4 ends the program you are running, better yet, never drop anything unless you really don't want it.
The "trade me all your stuff and the one with the best stuff wins!" game.. this... is obviously a scam... honestly, if they can't just look at it in trade and they "need" to see it in their inventory, this is a scam
I am sorry for having you see the cold truth, but I don't want to see anyone hurt and i don't wat the bad guy to win, corny sure, but I am not an evil guy, cold, but not evil :P
