The Lt. Dan Band, which includes actor Gary Sinise, performed for service members, personnel of the Department of Defense, civilians, and their families, at the parade field on Naval Base Kitsap (NBK), on July 5. Dan Band return to Joe's for the annual United States Veterans Arts Program Benefit Concert. USVAP provides Artistic Tools® (instruments, cameras, art supplies etc..) to wounded military service members and to Veterans care facilities. We went last year and had a great time. Being a retired warrior I am kinda partial to this website. It is Gary Sinise and the LT Dan Band. He is a fine actor with a love of supporting our troops and their families. During one of his many trips overseas to visit our troops, he asked the USO 1 if they would allow him to bring a band with him on tour. The USO said yes and the rest is history.
