It's not everyday that you come across a feel good story about a Used Car salesman, who is awarded for his integrity, and who is also not only a Gator but served as the Gators' travel agent since the Charlie Pell years, and can even dish on Tim Tebow. For 30 years, [John Cousins] and his family have quietly grown their business by adhering to a code of ethics, keeping repeat customers and counting on word of mouth for new customers. Cousins has worked behind the scenes on various community boards as well as serving as the volunteer travel agent for the Florida Gators ... Read Full Story

We can live with Gator blue uniforms with weird butt stripes , but why go retro helmet for technologically advanced unis? Nike site . (Has a somewhat cool narration.) Gator Country photo array . Make no mistake about it, No. 1 Florida's run to the top is nothing like last year's. Florida ran over teams a season ago to win its second national title in three years. This time, the Gators (10-0) are doing it as much on mental toughness as on talent. They finished off their first perfect, 8-0 Southeastern Conference regular season in 13 years with a 24-14 victory at South Carolina on Saturday. But almost from the moment Florida celebrated its 2008 championship, the path back was filled with issues and distractions more likely found on soap operas than in locker rooms. "It has been ... No. 1 Florida didn't do much to erase all the negative vibes from rough week for the defending champions. Tim Tebow accounted for two touchdowns, Caleb Sturgis kicked two field goals and the Gators beat Vanderbilt 27-3 in a lackluster effort Saturday night at The Swamp. Florida fans looking for something positive following linebacker Brandon Spikes' one-game suspension for dirty play and coach Urban Meyer's hefty fine for criticizing officials may have been disappointed. The Gators (9-0, 7-0 Southeastern Conference) extended their winning streak to 19 games overall — and their streak against Vandy (2-8, 0-6) to 19 games, too — but struggled on ... Read Full Story

Things couldn't be any more different for Urban Meyer's Florida Gators and Bobby Bowden's FSU Seminoles this Thanksgiving weekend. For Florida, it's the last regular season step to a perfect record—for FSU it's the end of a season rife with disappointment and controversy. The Seminoles' fall from grace has made “FSU Week” a bit less spectacular than in the past, but with the fate of a legendary head coach in the balance and with the last home...
