Who is Gemma?
British actress/model/singer Gemma’s first acting role playing Lisa Hunter on Hollyoaks placed her in the public eye and she has been firmly there ever since. She was a popular character in Hollyoaks, playing Lisa for five years and proving her credentials as an actress covering topics of self-harm and bereavement. Due to her characters popularity Gemma continued with late night Hollyoaks show, Hollyoaks: in the City.

After leaving Hollyoaks behind Gemma showed fans a different side to her by appearing in ITV1’s primetime show Soapstar Superstar and proving that she can sing as well as act.

More recently Gemma became even more of a household name by taking part in ITV1’s massively successful I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here broadening her fanbase. Since then things have been going from strength to strength for Gemma. She made a cameo appearance in a C4 comedy pilot, Plus One, which has now been commissioned for a series. She also has a role in forthcoming Brit flick Boogie Woogie alongside Jamie Winston, Christopher Lee and Heather Graham which is out in August 2008. She has filmed a pilot for Channel Five and will soon be shooting her calendar for 2009. Gemma will also host the first ever play.com event at Wembley Stadium on March 15 and 16 to be transmitted on T4 on Easter weekend 2008.

Along with this Gemma has been working on her music which should be out later this year.
