It’s been five years since a Gene Hackman movie came out. That would be the lame political comedy called Welcome To Mooseport in 2004. Hackman, of course, was a welcome respite from the rest of the movie. But since then, nothing. What to make of this? Hackman hasn’t officially sworn off movies through his agent or a press release.
