The first Singapore Idol and homemade celebrity, Taufik Batisah, sang the Singapore’s National Anthem, Majulah Singapura, during the 2nd Singtel Formula One Grand Prix . Unfortunately Taufik made a mistake during the performance and riled many Singaporeans with his error. What Taufik did was to sing “marilah kita berseru” which means “let us proclaim”, instead of the correct verse “marilah kita bersatu”, which means “let us unite”.
