I'll admit that while I was completely excited to squeeze in the packed theater with viewers of all ages waiting for Fantastic Mr. Fox to begin, a tiny worry was playing on the tip of my popcorn-reaching fingers. There's some really creative stop motion animation in this tale of a family man fox lured back into his younger lifestyle as a thief. The story is okay as Mr. Fox goes a little too far and brings the wrath of the farmers not just on his family but the animals all around. There are times though, that the story drags, and it being a Wes Anderson film, there's a few instances where things were a little too quirky for my taste.
