George Gray is Assistant Administrator for Research and Development. According to whitehouse.gov: Before being appointed as Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (Research and Development), Dr. Gray served as Executive Director of the Center for Risk Analysis and a faculty member at the Harvard University School of Public Health. He previously served as an Instructor in Risk Analysis for the University's Department of Health Policy and Management. Earlier in his career, Dr. Gray was a Research Associate at the Center for Risk Analysis. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan. He later received his master's degree and his PhD from the University of Rochester.

Earth Day 2007 Historic Drug Collection Protects Drinking Water

(Dallas, Texas – November 25, 2009) The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $100,000 to the Delaware Nation of Oklahoma. The Tribe will use the funds to provide continued support for their water pollution control program. Surface water sampling on Tribal lands will continue to determine if a more thorough watershed management program is needed to develop water quality standards.
