George Huguely has been sued by American International Group, Inc. (AIG) for refusing to answer insurance investigators’ questions regarding the death of Yeardley Love, his ex-girlfriend. Yeardly Love (UVA Lacrosse photo) Yeardley Love's killer, her ex-boyfriend George Huguely, has been sentenced to 23 years in prison. The former University of Virginia lacrosse player was sentenced Thursday in Virgina, reports People.com. Former University of Virginia lacrosse player George Huguely was found guilty of second degree murder and grand larceny today by a Virginia jury. A jury of seven men and five women decided his fate, after deliberating for nearly nine hours. Huguely's murder charge stemmed from the death of his ex-girlfriend Yeardley Love.
