President Bush's quick reactions saves him from an imprint to the face

28 year old Muntadhar al-Zeidi transformed from a Reporter for a minor News Station, to a national hero for insulting President Bush on Sunday. According to his family, al-Zeidi has come to hate the U.S. occupation and also hates Iran's interference with Iraq. It is noted by law that he could be sentenced up to 2 years or a small fine for insulting a Foreign Leader and the Prime Minister of Iran, who was standing next to President Bush during the shoe throwing.

A charity run by the daughter of Libyan Leader Moammar Gadhafi bestowed a medal of courage to al-Zeidi and demanded his release. She is not however alone in this for several thousand people in Baghdad and other cities joined in the demonstration of his release.

His behavior was the talk of the town from coffee shops to businesses and even schools titling him as a Courageous Hero. One such person comes from an elementary school who asked her students if they had seen the footage. She dubbed him a brave man and also noted that history shall remember forever. Indeed.

President Bush was unharmed but the Dana Perino, the White House Press Secretary, suffered an eye injury when a mic hit her during the melee. When questioned by the reporters, Bush joked by telling them: "I'm pretty good at ducking as some of you know," which seemed to be a closing answer in avoidance of more questions.
