India: Golwalker Sangh Parivar RSS fascism

WEEKEND MAGAZINE (November 07 2009): India, the 7th largest country by its geographical area is controlled by a tiny fundamentalist community called Brahman. Although, claiming to be the world’s largest democracy and the 2nd most populous nation in the world, India is a conspicuous symbol of religion based terrorism. Their centuries old socio-religious norms of hatred and minorities’ genocide make India a neo-Nazi of the 21st century.

While claiming to be secular and democratic, the Indian government has given new meanings to state sponsored violence, with its innovative approach towards minorities’ persecution as a state policy. In his manifesto ‘We, Our Nationhood Defined’ (1939),

Of the 1139.96 million total Indian population, mainly consists of well over 800 million Hindus (80.5%), Muslims (13.4%), Christians (2.3%), Sikhs (1.9%), Buddhists (0.8%), and Jains (0.4%); while Jews, Zoroastrians, Baha’is and other minority ethnic groups are roughly 8.1% of the total population.

For the last 62 years since 1947 when India got independence from the British, its minorities are living in a constant state of fear & reprisal and their persecution by various state agencies and zealot Hindu organisations like the RSS, has become a major state policy, as major resource mobilisation and policy planning is done by fanatic Brahmans. Therefore, there are practically no chances of minorities’ welfare and development. Hindu fanatics did not even spare their ‘father of the Hindu nation.’

On the evening of January 30, 1948 a fanatic Brahman called Nathuram Godse, an activist in Rashtriya Swayansevak Sangh (National Volunteers Association, or the RSS), founded in the central Indian city of Nagpur in 1925 and devoted to the creation of a militant Hindu state, shot dead India’s father of modern day political Hindutva- 78 years old Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, in New Delhi, point blank. With Gandhi’s passing away, started the long shadow of Hindu extremism which is still haunting the whole of South Asia while Pakistan is a particular target.

The violent attacks on Indian Muslims are part of a concerted campaign of assorted Hindu terror organisations for promoting and exploiting communal tensions to further the Hindutva’s political rule. BJP is an important socio-political movement which is supported by Hindu militant groups that function with total protection and under the patronage of the state.

These groups are directly responsible for bloodshed against innocent Muslims in Gujarat including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, the Bajrang Dal, the BJP, and the umbrella organisation Rashtriya Swayansevak Sangh, all of whom collectively form the SANGH PARIVAR. These organisations, although different in many respects, have all promoted the argument that because Hindus constitute the majority of Indians, therefore, it should be a Hindus state. India is quietly emerging as a new ‘terror central’.

Since the start of this century, almost nine years ago, India has seen the targeted murder of over 700 Christians, 2500 Muslims, and the unaccounted hundreds of ‘untouchables.’ That’s not all. India is now grooming its own ‘Hindu al Qaeda,’ terrorist militias tasked with guarding India’s dreams of becoming the next superpower. A UN report, issued in the beginning of this year, slammed the pervasive climate of fear and intolerance perpetuated by Hindu zealots in many parts of India, and asked the Indian government to provide successful security and shelter to its minorities of whom Christians and Muslims, in particular, are more vulnerable, often helpless and increasingly ghettoised.

The report suggested that laws and bills on religious conversion in several of Indian states should be reconsidered as they raise serious human rights concerns. It is worth noting that recommendations of Sachar Committee, that highlighted the plight of Indian Muslims in terms of development, have again been cold-shouldered in the 2008-09 budget. Sachar Committee lamented that Muslim girls are the most educationally disadvantaged of the lot as there is non-availability of schools within easy access of Muslim girls and there is no specific plan to address this issue either.

Likewise, 25% of Muslim children (6-14 years) drop out or never go to schools. Sachar Committee further reported the fact that it is much more difficult for Muslims to get loans than non-Muslims. This is the real price Indian Muslims are paying with their blood and toil since 1947. Pakistan, being an enduring hurdle in the designs of extremist Brahman elite, is a particular itch for them. Hindu history proves that they try to win through conspiracies and espionage what they cannot win in open war wares, therefore; Indian government and its various terror sponsoring agencies are waging a constant war of terrorism and destruction in Pakistan, in connivance with some fifth columnists.

Experts have divulged that as many as 40 different training camps at Rajasthan, East Punjab, Indian occupied Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and other parts of India are run by RAW’s Special Service Bureau to sponsor terrorism in Pakistan and other regional countries. RAW is also sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan through its various ‘consulate offices’ set up in bordering areas in Afghanistan to excel its sabotage activities in Pakistan. Therefore, the nation needs to remain alert of Hindu terrorists in guise of Taliban. Pakistani media, in this situation, should remain high alert and our intellectuals, intelligentsia and writers should draw attention towards Indian designs as we have already caught napping in 1971.

We need to stand united and provide political support to army fighting in South Waziristan. Thanks to Allah Almighty, Pakistan army is composed of strong nerved Muslims, who take martyrdom in battlefront as a heavenly boon. Its Jawans and officers have valiantly faced the hegemonic enemy head on and defeated it in the battlefronts. Meanwhile, it is a good sign that the parliamentary committee, comprising Senators and MNAs of all the parliamentary groups, has recommended setting up of a national counter-terrorism authority to analyse and assess reasons for rapid spread of terrorism and to suggest ways of eliminating it.
