GILLIAN ANDERSON is to appear in the next series of Doctor Who as a deadly enemy of new Time Lord Matt Smith, it is being claimed. The actress, who played special agent Dana Scully in hit show The X-Files, is reportedly being lined up to play The Rani, a renegade Time Lady.
