Giorgio Armani lipgloss

By the way, how did the strip club experience go? I'm curious. XD
- Viii小公主

HAHA. Well, we all lined up outside the Rhino and I had forgotten to bring my license the first time, so everyone had to take a cab back just so that I could go. :X I felt so bad! When we finally got in, I was surprised with how dark it was inside. There were definitely a lot more girls than guys and it seemed as if everyone was getting a lapdance. My bf pointed out one stripper giving more than that behind us (the guy had his fingers in the honeypot, so to speak). I was impressed with the physical ability of some of the strippers. It must take a lot to hold yourself up on the pole. Most of the girls were in terrific shape and most of the girls were definitely enhanced. Some took breaks in a corner to chat on their cellphones. Overall, it was an interesting experience, but not worth the $30 entry fee for me, especially considering I NEVER GOT A DANCE!

...my favorite sunglasses are also my two fendi glasses that sit primly on my nose instead of my cheeks without falling down!!
- Sooji

Yes, yes. For some reason, Fendi glasses fit my face such that there isn't too much sliding. That's a huge deal since I have a low bridge!

Are you graduating this year Fei? I remember somewhere along the line that you were a senior, right? 3 more weeks of UC madness yeah? I'm soo ready for summer to come.
- Chiara

Nope! I'm taking on another year, so Super Senior status it is! I don't really mind. I have the rest of my life to work and am in no rush to graduate. :D I'll definitely be walking with the class of '09, so that'll be something to look forward to!

I hope you don't mind a few questions...
1. How does a person NOT know what Chanel is?
2. What does your bf do? Sounds like he's rolling in dough.
- Aiai

I was completely SHOCKED with her ignorance of Chanel! How!! But it was kinda cute and I knew that she really did like the bag for what it is rather than liking it for the label as I'm sure is the reason why many girls covet Chanel. My bf's occupation... In the interest of protecting his privacy, I asked him first. Also, I really don't know his job title. Haha. He texts me with, "My job's to love you." *rolls eyes* Anyway, he doesn't come from money or anything like that, but works hard for his money. He does work in insurance and does pretty well for someone aged 24.

You life seems so exciting, I wish I lived somewhere other than the ultra-hick Gainesville...Damn you, UF, why can't you be in Miami....
- Tao

Man... If my life were truly that exciting I'd have much more to blog about. lol.

bagborroworsteal.com! it's kind of like netflix for purses, sunglasses, and jewelery. I'm not sure if it's an old site, but I just read about it in the Cosmopolitan magazine. It's kind of cool =] hehe
- Stefanie

I've heard of BagBorrowOrSteal a while back. I like the idea, but it's not for me. :\ I think I'd be too tempted to keep every bag I borrow. LOL. Plus, I don't like the idea of renting away my money when I could save it up for something for keeps. :) But it's certainly great for the girl who would love to carry a new designer bag every month without breaking the bank (too much).

oh no, I think one of my internal organs just decided to die when you said that purse cost $2.5k. It's that little white one in the corner of the picture of all the bills right? I hope it's not. I can understand a bag the size of your LV costing that much, but not that little thing. ...I remember that there is a great outlet mall right on the outskirts of LV and I remember a burberry outlet there.
- Anonymous

Yeah, the price is pretty ludicrous for some animal skin, but DAMN... It's still a beaut. It's the little white one with a chain strap at the upper left corner. And YES. I love that Burberry outlet. Great finds indeed.

I'm actually lemming the Louis Vuitton Watercolor Speedy 35 and reminds me of the Prada Fairy bag. Unfortunately, there's a freaking waiting list for it and that this one certain costs a lot more than the normal monogram ones. *sigh* Maybe Christmas will come early lol...
So where did you guys stay in Vegas?
- Angie

I was lemming the Watercolor Papillon! I like the colors against the dark canvas--the design really pops out. I decided against asking for it since I felt really guilty about spending so much of my bf's money and I was really afraid of the Papillon losing its shape over time--I've seen some pretty misshapened Paps. I don't think there's much of a waitlist for the Papillon either. We didn't stay anywhere fancy since we decided to save on the room and spend on food and fun, so we stayed at the Skyrise Tower at Circus Circus. Honestly, I liked it more than the Paris hotel suites. Weird, but true!

hey not to be rude but.. how do you guys afford branded stuff like that? do you guys save up or work or something? or is it from your parents? i'm not trying to be offensive but it's always puzzled me how students can afford high end goodies..
- Minimoisturiser

Not offended at all. My bf works for his money. I've never worked a day in my life, but spending money from my parents allows me to buy things I really want. I don't spend a lot very often. For luxury items, like the Prada wallet, I do save. Sometimes I just splurge and end up having to scrimp on other things, but I manage my money well enough for me to afford nice things.

damn, what does the person with all the money in that picture do for a living?! HE'S ROLLIN IN IT.
- Tiff

He doesn't really work! His family runs a business selling cameras, etc, so he lives off that. He's one of those guys who tries to impress girls with his parents' money, which is a huge turn off for me. So that Porsche he's driving? Daddy's. It's not quite as impressive once you find out who's footing the bills.

Did you do your makeup differently (i.e. dramatically) in Vegas or did you keep it the same?
- Steph

I kept it really simple for the weekend. The first night I did a smokey purple and pink, but the second night I just got lazy and used a lot of mascara and liner instead of color. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera at the time, so there aren't any decent photos of my makeup!

Seriously I am curious like all others before me: how does that guy have so much dough! And straight up cash too! That is so ghetto haha. I say that whiny girlfriend does not deserve a 2.5K Chanel bag if she doesn't even know what Chanel is!
- petitebelle

I think he had that much cash on him from his winnings earlier that night. $100 minimum at the high roller blackjack table. I think I'm seriously addicted to blackjack. Or at least to watching it high roller style. And I know what you mean about her not deserving the bag. I feel as though she won't give it as great a home as someone who really loves Chanel could. Ah well!

Fei, seeing that you lucky duck keep amassing top brand handbags, theres got to be a few you want to get rid of? just curious to know. Let me know!
- MIssy

I don't have any plans to sell any of my items. I have tried to sell an LV item, but it wasn't worth parting with since the resell value of that particular piece wasn't very high. Speedies, on the other hand, have a pretty good resell value. I don't have a large collection to begin with either! I'll certainly let you all know if I ever decide clean out my closet.

This Memorial weekend I picked my dad up from the airport. He brought back some goodies while in China, including this:

A chip for my Nintendo DS! Doesn't that make me a hypocrite for spouting on about stealing intellectual property since this allows me to "steal" video games? Hell yes! And I don't care. I've been buying all my games up until now, and frankly it's a pain in my wallet. So now I have access to every DS game under the sun. XD

I also bought a cute lipgloss set at DF&CCO; two days ago.

$15 marked down from $65 retail! Each gloss is about the size of a MAC lipglass, but contains a little less product. I'm thinking about giving it away as a gift since it's in such a cute package.

As you can see, I still have no digi cam and had to resort to webcam photos! My dad's thinking of saving up for an slr instead... I would prefer a pocket-sized camera since it's much more convenient, so I'll see.

At the airport, I was approached by a couple of Asian ladies holding a cardboard box asking for money to aid the victims of the earthquake in China. I was a little disgusted with them, because I have major trust issues when it comes to random strangers peddling for money "for a good cause," so I just told them I had no cash. One lady made a face and they moved on. Bah! I'm sorry I couldn't toss a few bucks your way, but I have no idea if you're credible, lady! It's not as though I have no compassion for the victims! Anyway, if anyone's seriously thinking about donating to support the earthquake victims I'd suggest sending your check to an organization like the Red Cross.

Speaking of the earthquake... I watched a short video clip interview with Sharon Stone in which she stated, "'Is that Karma, when you're not nice and the bad things happen to you?'" nodding at the Chinese treatment of Tibetans. Errhh... Wtf? How is the death of innocent school children "karma" for the treatment of the Tibetans? For someone who's lied about being a Mensa member, I'm not surprised. What a bimbo!
