Trinidadian boxing champion Giselle Salandy died Sunday from injuries sustained in a car crash on the outskirts of the Caribbean country's capital. Women’s world boxing champion Jizelle Salandy has died at the Port of Spain General Hospital after she crashed into a concrete pillar. The collision caused massive head and internal injuries and she was rushed to the hospital, but died while undergoing emergency surgery.
