Glenn Beck 's dramatic style was channelled by Saturday Night Live veteran Jason Sudeikis Thursday night when the notable, nutty Fox News personality was briefly portrayed in the show's opening sketch. Jason Sudeikis as Glenn Beck (From SNL) The sketch takes on Barack Obama ( Fred Armisen ) for his refusal to deal with Fox News despite his constant television appearances. An assistant urges Obama to give Fox a shot because maybe they can be fair and balanced. "Really? Well let's check in with Glenn Beck," he counters. Sudeikis' portrayal of Beck is the highlight of the 4 and a half minute sketch, but ... Read Full Story

They should have never given Glenn Beck a live television show. Yesterday while trying to make a point about Barack Obama 's leadership, Beck appeared to accidentally kill a frog on his live show on Fox News by throwing it into boiling water. Glenn Beck and the unfortunate, probably fake, frog. (From YouTube video) Beck's argument was based on the old adage that if you throw a frog into boiling water, it will jump right out, but if you put him in lukewarm water and gradually turn up the heat, it will stay in the water until it's too late. The Louisiana Democratic Party, in a rather humorous and bold press release on Tuesday, called for Senator David Vitter (R-La.) to denounce conservatives who have called his fellow Sen. Mary Landrieu (D) a prostitute for her support of health care reform. Vitter, of course, has his own sordid history with ladies of the night. So the chance to tie him to recent claims from the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh that Landrieu was whoring...

Spencer Ackerman weighs in on the story we wrote about earlier:Now, in fairness, I’m a very short Jew, so, it’s not like this thought hasn’t occurred to me either. But my friend Ari Rabin-Havt is a perfectly tall American of Jewish heritage, and the demagogic buffoon Glenn Beck mispronounces Ari’s eeeeeeethnicky last name in order to make some juvenile jokes about Hobbits. Because real Americans have names like Beck. But maybe that’s just my...

The Fox News host put on a show this weekend in the Villages, Fla., and he played all his classics: In America, Beck says, we’re supposed to decide peacefully according to agreed-upon procedures. “But everything is upside down right now!” You might think Barack Obama and the Democratic Congress were elected according to standard procedures.
