#41 Karl Paymah Glenn Holt The Minnesota Vikings have signed free agent wide receiver and kick returner Glenn Holt and unrestricted free agent cornerback Karl Paymah. Holt is a four-year veteran who led the Cincinnati Bengals in kickoff return yards in each of his three seasons with the team, averaging 24.3 yards per return. In 2008, Holt had 46 returns for 1,110 yards, with five returns greater than 40 yards. He started at wide receiver for the Bengals the final five games of the season. Glenn Holt recently signed a contract with the Vikings. Terms of the deal are not yet known. Holt will likely compete for a roster spot, trying to prove himself as the Vikings most viable kick returner. Holt averages 24.3 yards on 122 career returns. He also has one touchdown. In his three years with the Bengals he caught just 20 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns. Like Karl Paymah, Holt’s signing suggests that the Vikings are committed to improving their special teams this year.
