Their first album, St. Elsewhere, was released by Warner Music on April 24, 2006 in the UK and on May 9 in the US by Atlantic / Downtown Records. It was made available for download one week earlier in the U.S. via the iTunes Music Store and other online download stores. I loved Outkast. I was about 11 when ATLiens dropped and I've been a fan of the Dungeon Family since then. During that time period, I caught a music video on THE BOX by Goodie Mob for their single "Soul Food" and I thought that the song was pretty ill but I wouldn't get my hands on the album until years later. Cee-Lo's Verse from Soul Food from Goodie Mob's Soul Food , 1995 "It's such a blessing when my eyes/Get to see the sun rise/ To get further away from where I've been/ But I'll never gorget everythang I went through I appreciate ... Gnarls Barkley - Crazy Lyric I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind There was something so pleasant about that place. Even your emotions had an echo In so much space And when you're out there Without care, Yeah, I was out of touch But it wasn't because I didn't know enough I just knew too much Does that make me crazy? Even with Austin City Limits Festival in the forefront of the weekend, many of the major acts found their way to the University of Texas campus to tape an episode of the Austin City Limits television show. One of the groups making their ACL debut in front of the famed Austin backdrop was Gnarls Barkley on Saturday night. Show review and setlist after the jump. However, with the feature act coming on just after 8:00 PM, Gnarls ... Read Full Story

(Guest blog and photos BY ROBERT LOERZEL from the third, and final, day of Lollapalooza, Chicago's three-day music fest in Grant Park, which ran Aug. 1-3). After the audience melee at Saturday's Rage Against the Machine concert, Sunday's final day of Lollapalooza felt like the calm after the storm. Yes, it's true that another aggressive rock band, Nine Inch Nails, was one of the final acts during the three-day festival. But even as NIN singer Trent Reznor and his band pummeled their songs with muscular force Sunday night, the crowd did not show any signs of breaking out into violence. Applause and enthusiasm, yes. ... Read Full Story

Founded in the mid-'90s, Goodie Mob is one of Southern hip-hop's most revered acts. The Atlanta foursome, led by rotund crooner Cee-Lo Green in his pre-Gnarls Barkley days, were so uniquely talented, their oddball behavior was interpreted by many rap pundits as genius. Clearly, Cee-Lo wore that fish...
