Goddess Durga on Tatiana the Tiger

Someone said that San-Francisco Zoo perpetrators were trying to ride the Tatiana Tiger in order to honor Goddess Durga... Who is Goddess Durga, anyway? Durga is a Hindu goddess that rides a tiger to kill her children enemies. Kali's Trinity consisted of Parvati (Maya the Virgin), Durga (The Mother Queen), Uma (Prisni the Crone).
