Indiana Pacers guard Mike Dunleavy was in the zone Wednesday night as the Pacers defeated the New Orleans Hornets 101-96. The San Jose Mercury News is reporting that the Golden State Warriors and head coach Don Nelson have re-worked his contract and he will be back on the bench for the Warriors this season. The Warriors also have a club option to pick up the contract for the 2008-2009 season. The Golden State Warriors have announced that they have reached a buyout agreement with center Adonal Foyle and have granted the ten year veteran his unconditional release. Foyle was drafted with the eighth pick in the first round of the 1997 NBA Draft. The 32 year old 6′10″ veteran has spent his entire career with the Warriors and signed a six year deal with the team believed to be worth close to $42 million dollars. I'm writing this after the Warriors trounced Utah Jazz in game 3 of the 07 Playoffs, round 2. To update, yes, in round 1 the number 8 seeded team operating under a system their coach Don "Nelly" Nelson calls "controlled chaos," did beat hot shot #1 Dallas with the (no-show) MVP player and record 67 wins in the regular season.
