The 39th Annual GMA Dove Awards will be held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee and will be airing April 23, 2008 at 7p.m.
The Gospel Music Association was founded in 1964 to serve as the face and voice for the Gospel/Christian Music community. Through the GMA, all styles including pop, rock, praise & worship, black gospel, R & B, Hip Hop, Southern Gospel, Country and More are promoted. There are over 4,000 members including agents, artists, church leaders, managers, promoters, radio personnel, record company executives, retailers, songwriters and other industry visionaries.
