EW.com reports the show will actually be a prequel . It's all about Lily's life as a teenager in the 1980s living in the valley. (Um, sound familiar??) The pilot will air on May 11, in place of a "Gossip Girl" episode. What do you think -- gag me with a spoon or totally killer?

The CW president said they have difficulty in fitting the spin-off into their packed list of good TV pilots.
