Goth Fashion: Illegal in Russia?

The Russian Parliament is drafting a law that will make emo and goth music illegal.  One of the draft's authors, Igor Ponkin, called emo a "social danger" that increases the likelihood of teen suicide.  The bill itself is believed to be a reaction to the suicide of British teenager Amanda Bond.  The bill will become Russian law by the end of the year.Note to Russia: if you really want to turn a fashion statement into a dangerous subculture, make it illegal.  If you think passing this law is...Read Full Story
