Scott Brown (R-MA) to be Sworn into Office Thursday, February 4th, 2010 image Scott Brown.com The Washington Post article headlined: “Scott Brown to be sworn in to Senate a week early” is a bit disingenuous, as the Massachusetts Secretary of State, William Galvin, had not disputed the results of Brown’s election. However, Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid, decided to wait until the votes were certified, a period of up to 10 days following the election. After the 10 day ... Read Full Story

Last night was arguably Governor Deval Patrick's finest moment as a Massachusetts political leader as he delivered his annual state-of-the state address. In that speech Patrick began to build a strong case for his re-election in a way that was methodical yet compassionate. Governor Patrick, to his credit, convincingly came across as totally invested in making life better for ... Read Full Story

Brown won the seat on his own merits, in a campaign which was executed by grassroots efforts with impeccable precision. This was mainly due to his overall appeal to the general population; one which is currently sick and tired of ... Read Full Story

Truth be told, today’s podcast with Gov. Deval Patrick was a little bit of a love fest. The usual trio had supported and endorsed him in his campaign and will again. Yet, we are like many progressives — impatient. Amusingly he brought out one of his anecdotes about his friend Barack Obama. When Patrick complained that he hated the raising-money and bragging aspects of politics, Obama said, “Get over it.” He seems to have done that and let us...
