I would not trust a Louisiana Dixiecrat to walk my dog up the street , these politicians are carrying too much racially charged social baggage to even begin to turn this state around.  I tell you the  Dixiecrats down south are nothing nice. Now that Ms. Blanco, 64, has announced that she will not run for re-election, Democrats will likely set their hopes on former Senator John B Breaux.  Breaux remains popular in the state and has hinted that he may run if Blanco drops out.  Breaux would be a much more valid and threatening candidate for Mr. Jindal, who had been leading the polls against Ms. Blanco.
