Now That's Home-Field Advantage

The Cleveland Indians trailed 1-0 coming into the eighth inning of Friday's ALDS Game 2 at Jacobs Field, when a frightening swarm of bugs attacked the New York Yankees, spooking rookie reliever Joba Chamberlain.

It began with a walk to Grady Sizemore, who advanced to second on a wild pitch. I suppose it's pretty hard to see with bugs feasting on your eyeballs. Asdrubal Cabrera then hit a sac fly to move Sizemore to third and after two outs, Chamberlain threw another wild pitch to Victor Martinez that scored Grady to tie the game.

"They bugged me," Chamberlain said.

After a scoreless ninth and tenth, Kenny Lofton walked on four pitches to lead off the 11th against Luis Vizcaino. Franklin Gutierrez, failing to get down a sacrifice, nailed a single to left that moved Lofton to second. Casey Blake moved the batters over on a sac bunt before Sizemore was intentionally walked to fill the bags.

With two out, Travis Hafner smoked the game-winning single to give the Tribe a 2-1 victory and a 2-0 lead in the series.

Alex Rodriguez, in true postseason form, went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts and is now 4-for-47 with zero RBIs in his last 14 playoff games.

Game 3 will take place on Sunday at Yankee Stadium, where Cleveland's Jake Westbrook will look for the first October sweep of the Yankees in 27 years. The Yanks will look to their favorite Rocket, Roger Clemens, who is 27-8 lifetime against the Indians.
