Mother Skins Boy, Feeds Parts to Relatives

In an odd and rare case of cult cannibalism, Kalra Mauerova, 31, of the Czech Republic appeared in court today to face charges of imprisoning and torturing her son Ondrej and his 10-year-old brother Jakub.

The boys said they were kept in cages or handcuffed to tables. They also said they were made to stand for days in their own urine. The boys also said in court that they were sexually abused and forced to cut themselves with knives. But, possibly the most gruesome part of their story is that Mauerova caged Ondrej for months, while relatives ate his raw flesh.

Mauerova and her relatives were all members of the religious group or cult known as the Grail Movement.

The two boys were found recently after a neighbor installed a TV monitor to watch his newborn baby, but when he turned the monitor on it showed images of the two boys naked and chained in a dark room. Apparently Mauerova also installed a monitor to watch her victims suffering from her kitchen, but the frequencies became crossed.

Police were called and the two boys were released, as well as what appeared to be a 13-year-old girl. They discovered later that the apparent girl was actually a 34-year-old woman, Barbora Skrlova, and one of the people that helped torture the boys. She escaped, but was apprehended later, posing as a young boy in Norway.

Skrlova was eventually accused by Mauerova of brainwashing her. She also said that the abuse of the two boys was coordinated by text messages from a leader of the Grail Movement, known as the "Doctor."

Mauerova is on trial, along with another relative and Skrlova.
