Sonics Unsure About Durant For Season Opener
NBA Fans learned earlier this Summer that the number one pick in the 2007 NBA Draft Greg Oden would not be playing in the NBA regular season opener. In fact he will not play at all in the 2007-2008 campaign as he underwent microfracture surgery on his knee. Now there is a possibility that the number two pick of the draft, Seattle’s Kevin Durant could also be on the bench for the NBA season debut. The Seattle Post Intelligencer reported Thursday that a MRI revealed that Durant had sprained his ankle in the Sonics loss to the Golden State Warriors.
