Greg Page was former heavyweight boxing champion. He passed away due to complications from a 2001 fight on April 27, 2009 at the age of 50. Greg Page , a one-time heavyweight champion boxer, died on Monday, April 27, 2009 at the age of 50. He passed away from complications due to a severe brain injury he suffered in a fight in 2001 that left him in a coma for nearly a week. He also suffered a stroke shortly after.
