This is one of Mr. Betts’ personal Gibson Les Paul Guitars. It is fully documented, and completely authentic. The Guitar is a 1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, ordered in the natural finish as presented with the full size Humbucking pickups which were custom ordered to be installed during this period of Gibson production. Mr. Betts used this guitar (among others) during the recording sessions of the Allman Brothers Band Brothers and Sisters album which was released by Capricorn Records in 1973. The guitar was also used on various later recording projects, concert tours, etc.  
I will keep the text brief as the attached documentation will provide the history of the guitar and how it came into the possession of the present owner, Mr. Sid Yochim. There have been some personal modifications done on the guitar for Mr. Betts, again this is all explained in detail in the documents that follow. The photographs posted below include images of the instrument, and recent images of Mr. Betts and Mr. Yochim which were taken at Mr. Betts’ estate here in Southwest Florida in January, 2009. Mr. Yochim has offered the guitar for sale solely due to major medical costs his family is presently facing. 
Mr. Betts has graciously stepped up to assist, participating in not only the photographs, but in providing his own Letter of Authenticity, etc. Mr. Buddy Thornton provides an additional letter, having been present as a recording engineer during the Brothers and Sisters sessions, countless other recording projects and concert tours with the Capricorn Records Artists, along with working with many others in the top echelon of the music industry. Terms of Payment:  The winning bidder will provide a $1000.00 Non-Refundable deposit via Paypal within three business days of the auction end. The balance of payment must be provided by the winning bidder within seven business days of the auction end via Bank Wire Transfer, or in Cash USD if taking delivery in person. Terms of Shipping:   Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the winning bidder. Shipping and insurance within the Continental United States will be $275.00 due to the insurance requirements and size and weight of the included flight case.
Terms of Shipping to other locations outside the Continental United States and International locations:  Bidders outside the Continental United States and International destinations must inquire about the shipping costs prior to bidding. International bidders are welcome but must provide specific information as to destination and agree to shipping fees before bidding.
