Oops! Guess not... From Media Matters: On Fox & Friends, co-host Gretchen Carlson claimed that through her "own crack research" on the cash for clunkers program, which included spending "a tremendous amount of time on this yesterday finding out information," she determined that in "Minnesota, so far only two of these deals have actually been approved by the government." However, several media outlets have reported that, according to a survey by the Minnesota Automobile Dealers Association, out of 7,500 consumers who participated in the program, approximately 2 percent of transactions have been approved. Don't worry, Gretchen; we don't think you're actually on crack. We ... Read Full Story

Question: Who was Gretchen Carlson's guest on FOX and Friends this morning 11/23/09? Gretchen had an author on the show this morning discussing his new book about marriage and relationships. I don't recall the book title or the author name, but the book sounded like it was funny. I think the book had something in the title like; how to get a good husband?

In his Washington Post column late last month, George Will revealed that Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) was once Fox & Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson’s babysitter: When [Bachmann] was a teenager in Anoka, Minn., she was a nanny for a young girl named Gretchen Carlson. Today, Carlson, a Stanford honors graduate who studied at Oxford, is [...]

When Fox “Opinion” News has a certain propaganda point that it wants to promulgate, it uses the reinforcement technique. The point is introduced on one “opinion” show and then picked up by another. Classic example of this is the “controversy” regarding the town of Kent Connecticut’s refusal to allow “murdered by Muslim terrorists” on a publicly funded memorial for the son, killed on 9-11, of nativist (that’s what he is) Peter Gadiel. Last week...

And if George Will says it, ergo, it must be true. In a Washington Post article about America's most conspiratorial congressperson, he says this: "When she was a teenager in Anoka, Minn., she was a nanny for a young girl named Gretchen Carlson. Today, Carlson, a Stanford honors graduate who studied at Oxford, is a host of "Fox & Friends," the morning show on -- wouldn't you know -- Fox News Channel." Providing even more credence to this story...

Fox Opinion News is still maintaining their bogus contention that they are “fair and balanced.” Monday, Gretchen Carlson did an interview, with Christopher Hitchens and Pastor Douglas Wilson (who collaborated with Hitchens on a documentary that questions religion), that she felt was “fair and balanced.” But while she tried just so hard – she really, really did – the whole “fair and balanced” meme fell short when Carlson came out with a...

On the November 18th Fox & Friends, co-host Gretchen Carlson advanced the baseless claim that health care reform "is going to add a lot of money to the debt." The number one concern from voters at the exit polls was the economy by a huge margin. So, a lot of people are...

Guest blogged by notveryhow Let me open this by saying that I do not know a lot about Michelle Malkin. She appears to be just another shrill partisan, and when her face appears on TV my attention wanders. Though her flying monkeys swooping in on Graeme Frost and his family for his sin of benefiting from S-Chip and delivering the Democratic radio address to talk about it did raise my ire, I usually ignore her. She is a regular columnist in my...
