Foo Fighters - Have A Cigar Lyric Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar. You're gonna go far, You're gonna fly high, You're never gonna die, You're gonna make it if you try; They're gonna love you. Well I've always had a deep respect, And I mean that most sincerely. The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think. Oh by the way, which one's Pink? And did we tell you the name of the game, boy, We call it Riding the Gravy Train. We're just knocked out. We heard about the sell out. You... Read Full Story
Foo Fighters - Long Road To Ruin Lyric Here now don't make a sound Say have you heard the news today? One flag was taken down To raise another in its place A heavy cross you bear A stubborn heart remains unchanged No home, no life, no love No stranger singing in your name Maybe the season The colours change in the valley skies Dear God I've sealed my fate Running through hell, heaven can wait Long road to ruin there in your eyes Under the cold streetlights No tomorrow, no dead end in sight... Foo Fighters are to headline Wembley Stadium on June 7th next year. After the success of Hyde Park last year, multiple Earls Court gigs, Reading Festival and their sold out O2 dates, the boys are planning to come back to London for another HUGE show.
The ambitious gig will be held at the new Wembley Stadium on the 7th June, and this won’t be any old rock and roll show. . .

Whenever the Smoking Gun unearths an artist’s tour rider, we relish the opportunity to poke fun at the requests for tapioca pudding, Connect Four and, in the case of Amy Winehouse, a stocked selection of liquor. The Foo Fighters, well aware of the absurdity of demands like a bowl full of only green M&Ms and [...] Read Full Story
The Pretender By Foo Fighters Lyrics
«The Pretender» is the first single from the Foo Fighters' 2007 album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.
The Pretender By Foo Fighters Lyrics
Keep you in the dark you know they all pretend
Keep you in the dark and so it all began
Send in your skeletons
Sing as their bones come marching in... again
The need you buried deep
The secrets that you keep are at the ready
Are you ready?
I'm finished making sense
Done pleading ignorance
That... Read Full Story
Continuing my Alice in Chains kick, we have the third release from the band, Dirt, probably best know for the tracks Rooster and Would?, Would? Being from the soundtrack of the 90’s grunge era movie about Seattle life, Singles.
Releasing in 1992 (man, it doesn’t seem that long ago, 16 years ago) Dirt is a dark and powerful album, if SAP had never been released then this would be the best album in the AiC catalog, with songs like Rooster, Would?, Sickman, and Junkhead, they make for an... Read Full Story
Released in August of 1990 and paving the way for the Grunge music wave that swept the country in the 90’s, Alice in Chains Facelift was a bleak nihilistic look at the underbelly of everyday things, it let the general public see what darkness lies underneath the surface of the light. Facelift to this day is one of my favorite albums, it doesn’t get as much time in the stereo as it used to but it still gets played and it always will.
Man in the Box is the one and only single, as far as I... Read Full Story
The SAP E.P. Came out a few months before their second album Dirt was released, the five song EP is, in my opinion the best album from the AiC discography, if you listen to the album, it has more energy, more depth, more everything than any of the other album released by Alice in Chains while Layne Staley was alive.
As I’ve mentions on this blog before, the song Brother is the best song I’ve ever heard by Alice in Chains, with Got Me Wrong (which is also on the Jar of Flies album), and a... Read Full Story
