Guild wars is an MMORPG (Massive Multi-player Online Role Playing Game) that is played world wide. Currently there are are three games which comprise it, these being, Guild Wars Prophesies (the original game), Guild Wars Factions (The First Expansion), and Guild Wars Night Fall (The Most Recent Expansion). Much like in many other MMORPG's, you select what type of character you would like to be, you can choose any of the following character classes: Warrior, Elementalist, Monk, Dervish, Ranger, Mesmer, Necromancer, Paragon, Ritualist, or Assassin. There is a story mode to the game and a PvP mode to the game, and to get a full feel for the game, partaking in both modes are suggested.

I'd play it if it weren't for the subscription fees. I've got Guild Wars for free and Cities XL on a sub and I never play either. I guess I'm not really an MMO kind of guy, though I'll probably buy Guild Wars 2 and APB when they eventually launch. ddhboy
