PETER JACKSON, who is the producer on Guillermo del Toro's two-part adaptation of The Hobbit, has addressed widely-circulating claims that the film's release has been postponed.
The Hobbit's first instalment is due to come out on December 2011, followed by the second in December 2012.
But reports said the first part wouldn't be ready until 2012 because Jackson and Del Toro were behind schedule with the scripts, meaning that filming couldn't begin on time.

Guillermo del Toro is bringing his creepy film fare to Disney. Walt Disney Studios Chairman Dick Cook says the Oscar-winning filmmaker is joining forces with the studio to create a new brand, "Disney Double Dare You," which will produce scary animated fare.
