Cathie Jung: World's Smallest Waist --15 inches Honestly, no Photoshop. Cathie Jung’s tiny waist measures just 15in (38cm), making her figure distinctly hourglass. The Queen of Corsets, as she has aptly named herself, has worn tight-fitting corsets for years to get there, and appears in the 2007 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records. Whilst she currently holds the record for the smallest waist on a living person, the record for the smallest waist ever goes to Ethel Granger who had a... Read Full Story
Just about everyone has something odd about them. Strange talents, peculiar attributes, uncanny abilities - if it can be done, humans normally find a way to do it.
Then, there are those who are extreme. Uber-Extreme. These are the people who make it into the Guinness Book of World Records for attributes that baffle the sensibilities of most people. These people aren’t necessarily weird, but they all share one common attribute.
They are extreme in some way.

Grech does our nation proud
As far as we can tell, which, in terms of distance is about from here to the computer screen, Canada has failed to capture gold at any Olympic games it’s hosted.
While this would embarrass any other nation, especially one whose mastery of sport should go beyond hockey or the shuffleboard on ice that can be played while on dialysis, otherwise known as curling , it hasn’t really bothered us—until now, that is [Editor's note, we don't particularly care one way or... Meet Svetlana Pankratova, the woman with the world’s longest legs according to the Guinness Book of World’s Records. See her portrait photos, biography and a long-legged video here. Her height is not her greatest asset. She recently posed for pictures with He Pingping from China who happens to be the world’s smallest man. I do not mean in the pants pocket either. We are talking richter scale short from head to toe, while Svetlana has the longest legs in the world. What a pair. Speaking of... Read Full Story
Okay, this one is just too good.

The world’s smallest man has met the woman with the world’s longest legs. That’s pretty cool. Pingping from China standing only 2 feet 5 gets to sit between the legs of Svetlana Pankratova who owns the longest legs in the world, which stretch to 4 feet 4 inches long (132cm). The midget doesn’t seem to have a small brain, he did look up.. oops!
As reports by Telegraph.UK : Mr Pingping barely came up to Ms Pankratova’s knees at a bizarre photoshoot held to mark the launch of the new... Read Full Story

The world's shortest man, He Pingping, 20, of China, who stands 2 feet 5.37 inches, met Svetlana Pankratova, 36, the woman with the longest legs (at 4 feet), today in Trafalgar Square to promote the 2009 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records . Love connection? He suffers from a type of dwarfism (I'm guessing the dwarfiest kind) which was made so much less freakish by whoever's decision it was to dress him up like The Last Emperor . Then things got a lot more awkward when the lady with... Read Full Story
Sometimes I wonder what compels people to do the things they do or to build the things they build. But in the case of Perry Watkins, an "engineer" from the U.K., the reason might be for the sake of practicality. Watkins has built the world's smallest car, a car that also happens to be street-legal. Watkins is not new to creating something like this - he has been a record holder three times for having the world's lowest car, the Flatmobile. So with the experience gained from that last project...
