First of all, Guitar Hero World Tour is a great game if you play alone. It is not really good when playing as a band; one person make a deadly mistake and the whole band got boo'ed (the song will end). But when considering that this is the first Guitar Hero that offer a band play, it is alright to give Activision some time to make an improvement.
