I’m always arguing with my colleagues on the relative importance of a good guitar for a good guitar forward. It’s only for money. Not everyone sees the right equipment they want, as often as it is to buy a trade-off. I am a believer in spending a little more time and money for a good amplifier, but many players I know and respect think the opposite. In that sense, I think it best to try many different combinations of amp and guitar in your price range as you can.
