Toy Guns Being Declared Evil In Philadelphia
In the never ending assault on the Second Amendment rights of Americans, the Leftinstra has extended their battle now to, TOY guns. Yes, you read that correctly. TOY guns are up on the debate block of being banned in Philadelphia. Why? Because "Some of these guns look really, really real," as City Councilwoman Donna Miller exclaimed.
Yeah, whatever Donna.
In truth, Miller is just a bit miffed that a judge has put a temporary hold on a batch of gun laws that had just been enacted in the city, pending a full hearing on April 28th. Apparently the saying is true; Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Truth be told, Miller is just worried that the Supreme Court will decide in favor of upholding the recent decision in the Washington, D.C. "gun ban" case. So now she is concerned that children playing with them as toys may become comfortable with what seems like the real thing. "We don't want them to get used to the idea of using a weapon," as Miller put it.
Heavens no! We would NEVER want our children to get used to the idea of, or get comfortable with, using an item/right that has been guaranteed American citizens for over 200 years. That would just be unthinkable.
In a very poor attempt to cover her A$$, Miller's bill is supposed to specify that it's designed to, "ban toys that could be perceived as real. The bill she says would not cover toy guns that are clearly plastic or brightly colored." Let's step into the REAL world here for a minute Miller. How many kids, (minus their "realistic" looking toy guns,) will still grab the nearest NERF golf club and, shouldering it like a rifle will shout "BANG BANG! Your Dead!"
Your a putz Miller, just like the rest of the Disarm America loonies. Isn't there a global warming scheme somewhere you could be promoting?
Anyways, Miller's bill is set to be debated amongst a committee shortly. How much of the cities money will be wasted on just that? Enough to possibly put a couple more cops on the street in that town? Go figure.
