Oscar-winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla will be honored as a BMI Icon at the Broadcast Music Inc. organization's upcoming 15th annual Latin Awards ceremony. Santaolalla, who has won Academy Awards for his soundtracks to Brokeback Mountain and Babel , will receive his award at the event on June 12 in Los Angeles.
