Who Covered Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball' Better: HAIM or James Arthur?

(Getty Images)We've been waiting for HAIM to take over the world for a little over a year now, and with the release of their debut album Days Are Gone just around the corner, it looks like that's finally going to happen. This week, the gals headed into the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to cover "Wrecking Ball," aka Miley Cyrus' first number one single. The ladies switched up the tempo, with bass player Este offering her throatiest vocals.

But they weren't the only ones to take a stab at the song this week: UK X Factor winner James Arthur also covered the tune for a radio live lounge in Hamburg, Germany. He took the opposite approach, paring down the song to its essential elements and emoting hard on the delivery.

Listen to both, and tell us: Whose version do you prefer?
