A community portal about Hagia Sophia with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: Hagia Sophia, Holy Wisdom, now known as the Ayasofya Museum, is a former Eastern Orthodox church converted to a mosque in 1453 by the Turks, and converted into a museum in 1935. It is located in Istanbul, Turkey. It is traditionally considered one of the great buildings in history. Its conquest by the Ottomans at the fall of Constantinople is considered one of the great tragedies of Christianity by the Greek Orthodox faithful.

Perhaps this is too hard a hill to climb for Turkey - upholding the human rights of all its citizens including those of its religious minorities. I don't think they understand - that they have to do these insignificant things to get into Europe! The verdict condemns the Turkish state for improperly taking over the orphanage of Buyukada, on the Marmara Sea. In its ruling is also extremely important for religious minorities on Turkish soil.
