Recap Boom Bash 5.4: You know, I hate going out in LA after an earthquake. Everyone is just fucking weird. Listen Old Cloven G grew up in San Francisco and has been in the state of the Kaliyuga (look it up dumbass... google it... it's a pun based on the dance of Shiva... and Boom, Boom, Boom!) for almost 50 fucking years. Yes, almost 50 years. Unlike most LA posers, I have no issue with my age. If you were to meet me, you would never know my age. Mostly because I refuse to grow up, let alone... Read Full Story
Was it just me, or was the city a freaking ghost town on the 4th? It was a weird night in L.A. It seemed like there was no one on the road at all. And no one out and about. Where were you? Ya missed a great fucking gig. Do NOT tell me sucking on weenies and relish was more important than having a really good time watching live music with a bunch of really hot chicks. What has transpired is a combination of Spinal Tap meets Reaper. Boom Bash One, mild enough, was met with Santa Monica’s finest called out on a sound ordinance... Read Full Story
I'm not generally a metal fan. In fact, over the years I've wandered into other, stranger realms of sound, that while still loud are maybe a tad more eclectic. This is probably a reflection of what is going on inside that silly head of mine. (Hey, I heard that!) When you spend most of your time struggling just to get by, or stuggling just to keep your sanity in this god forsaken time in history, it's easy to forget what fun is all about. And I managed to allow myself to start to take this... Read Full Story
