Spoiler warning: the Halo 3 ending has been leaked. Bungie Studios doesn't officially release the ending of Halo 3 until the end of September 2007, but some video clips of the Halo 3 ending have been circulating on the web.

It appears the vid some 5 million units its first week. It is yet to be seen if Halo 3 will jump to become the bestselling console vidgames of recent times, currently led by “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City” at more than 13 million units. The newly-independent Bungie Studios is still hard at work. They are currently plugging away on downloadable content for Halo 3, as well as future original titles. The interesting part of this development is that Bungie Studios head, Harold Ryan, mentioned that they were working on future Halo titles as well.
