Find the hidden skulls in Halo 3. The Tilt Skull is one of the gold skull in the game.
Here is how to find the tilt skull.
Be sure to get it on your first time through the room, because it'll disappear on you.
Go to the circular room where Cortana mentions that she “Likes to play games", head towards the left side of the room near the weird bumps along the wall. Stand on the wall bumps, then look up and right. Jump up to the next set of wall bumps. Now jump even higher, to the ceiling, follow the pipe. You'll find the tilt skull in the center among a bunch of bones and junk.
Location: The Tilt skull can be found on the Cortana level in the circular room where Cortana says that she likes to play games too. It is quite difficult to get to as it requires getting on top of the ceiling of the room. When you enter the room head towards the left-hand side where you will see some mushroom shaped extrusions along the wall. Effect: Currently it seems that this skull does not unlock anything and furthermore does not have any affect on the game. It’s real name (if it has one) is unknown.
Location: The Unknown skull can be found on the Cortana level. It is in the room with the three generators that you must destroy. The skull is on the ceiling of the room (just above the door where you walk in for the first time).

Location: The Cowbell skull can be found on The Ark level. It is quite far into the level, so it takes a bit of time to find.
Start by heading all the way to the part of the level where you battle the Scarab. After defeating it, look in the center of the desert area which you battled it in for a fairly big structure (it is the building you see if you are at the bottom of the ramp you are supposed to go up, and turn to look in the opposite direction). Location: The Mythic Skull is the easiest skull to find, it can be found on the Halo level. You simply turn left from the main road and pick it up from the snow. The next terminal is close, just jump on the metal construction and turn right.
