What if, instead of shipping a $60 retail game , Microsoft and Bungie gave Halo: Reach away for free? What if, instead of shooting for a multi-million seller that makes millions more through downloadable expansions, Microsoft bet big on free-to-play gaming and its micro transaction business model? What if you didn’t have to pay a dime to play Halo: Reach? Read Full Story

I bought ODST a few weeks ago, and until earlier this week, it was pretty much gathering dust. Not for the lack of interest, but lack of time and opportunity to play the game. I haven't gone far in the game in the last few days, but so far I'm liking it a lot. There's this sense of claustrophobia and vulnerability that changes the game play from previous Halo games. The situation may even change on the run-up to that game’s release, as fans of the series try to sharpen their Call of Duty 4: Modern... Read Full Story
